There is one medical mission team from First Presbyterian Church traveling to Honduras in April, but it has many parts. There are doctors with years of experience. There are young medical staff just beginning their careers. There are members who are not in the medical field.
Rick MacKenzie, a doctor traveling to Honduras for his fourth medical mission, said, “the Honduras mission is one of service in a sustainable way through Serving at the Crossroads and Manos Amigas. My personal mission is to love, learn and contribute. I’m going to Honduras to fulfill both missions.”
He reminds us that the team also includes the organization who started the medical missions and the clinic staff, while the patients are the members that need special care. The one team also includes the “home” section, everyone who gives donations, offers prayers or helps the mission in any way. YOU, too, by simply reading with interest are part of the one team in Christ caring for the sick and injured in Honduras. Thank you for being a part of this team!

How? Sponsor a team member or essential need and be a part of life-changing care in Honduras.
There are 20 individuals traveling – both medical and support personnel, including doctors, nurses, and medical, nursing, and physician’s assistant students.
