GREAT NEWS! In April 2026, First Presbyterian Church will be sending a medical mission team to Honduras!
Why is First Presbyterian sending a medical mission? In her own words, this is why the church’s Reverend Stephanie Anthony will be traveling to Honduras as a member of the team:
I’m thrilled to go on the 2026 trip to witness and support the team of individuals coming together to use their God-given gifts for the up-lifting of others in Christ’s name. I’m excited to see the mutual learning that takes place between Honduran and US medical professionals. I am looking forward to meeting and serving our global neighbors in a time when there is so much suspicion of the “other.”

How? Sponsor a team member or essential need and be a part of life-changing care in Honduras.
There are 20 individuals traveling – both medical and support personnel, including doctors, nurses, and medical, nursing, and physician’s assistant students.
