Dear FPCA family,
I am excited to participate in my first baptism in this congregation this coming Sunday at the 11:00 am service. At both English-speaking services I’ll share a moment with the children of the church to talk about what it means to share this joyful sacrament in the Body of Christ. I love that in the Presbyterian Church our baptisms are ordinarily public and a part of the usual Sunday worship of the congregation. The aren’t held in private ceremonies for just a few people – the family and close friends of the one being baptized. Instead, we recognize that the whole congregation is part of the family of God, and it’s important for all of us to witness and participate in this ritual of welcome and blessing. Join us in person and on-line to share in the joy of the baptism of Peyton Gray Brighenti, child of God.
Peace,
