Dear FPCA family,
This Sunday we’re going to be celebrating the sacrament of baptism in our church family. While worshipers at the 11:00 a.m. service will get to witness it in person, it is still a celebration for all of us as we welcome a new child of God into the Body of Christ. In the Presbyterian Church, one of the things we understand about infant baptism is that it is all about promises – the promise God makes to love us, the promises parents make to nurture their child in faith, and the promises the congregation makes to support the child and parents in their faith journey. These last promises are made by a specific congregation present in the moment that is speaking for the Church Universal across all time and space. It’s a beautiful moment of connection to believers past, present, and future. Our English services this week will explore the promises, blessing, and call to discipleship that we remember during the sacrament of baptism. I hope you can worship with us!
Peace,

Lead Pastor
