February 5, 2026

Dear FPCA Friends:

This Sunday, February 8, we will celebrate Scout Sunday in both of our English-language worship services, and I hope you will join us!

Our congregation’s chartered troops—BSA Troop 519G, BSA Troop 12, and Cub Scout Pack 12—will help lead us in worship through readings, prayer, and presence. As part of the service, we will also invite all Scouts to come forward for a blessing. This invitation is open to all scouts in Scouting America and Girl Scouts of the USA. Our Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms and take part in this moment of prayer and thanksgiving.

Our Scripture readings for Sunday are Isaiah 58:1-12 and Matthew 5:13-20. These texts call us to a faith that is lived, embodied, and visible. We honor the good works we as Scouts and members of FPCA do in our community.  We shine God’s light in our everyday lives.

Whether you are a Scout, love a Scout, or simply come ready to worship; this Sunday will be a joyful gathering of God’s people across generations.

See you Sunday!

God’s Peace,

Pastor Taylor Hall
