Dear FPCA Family:
We are currently halfway through VBS, and what a joyful week it has already been! This year we have 73 children, 22 adult leaders, and 16 youth helpers participating in Blastoff! God’s Big Universe, our 2026 VBS theme.
Our children have been learning that God’s creation is bigger than we imagine, that God knows us by name, that God made us to belong together, that God calls us to care for others, and that God’s love is how the world knows us as followers of Jesus.
I hope you will join us this Sunday for our English-language worship services at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Instead of one “traditional” sermon, we will reflect together on the scriptures, themes, and lessons our children have been exploring throughout VBS. It will be a joyful opportunity for the whole congregation to celebrate what God has been doing among us this week.
And our children have been learning three songs, which they will sing during our VBS closing program on Friday, June 26, at 12:10 p.m. Some of our VBS children will also share those same songs during our 11:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday, June 28.
