Dear FPCA family,
As we have moved through Lent this year, we have been getting to the root of the good news and highlighting different ways we live out the gospel as we follow Jesus. We will take this same lens into these last few days of Holy Week when we gather for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and especially when we gather to celebrate the best news on Easter Sunday. Each of these services adds a little more to our understanding of how Jesus blesses us, redeems us, and calls us to live in the world with his love. We hope you’ll be able to worship with us!
On Easter Sunday, part of our response to the good news of the resurrection will be receiving the One Great Hour of Sharing offering along with our regular weekly offering. If your family has been collecting in a fish bank or if you are planning to share a gift in an envelope, please bring it to worship with you. You can also give through the church’s on-line platform by selecting “One Great Hour” from the drop down menu.
It will be good to be together in the diversity of services we’re holding over the next few days – from the buzzing conversation and communion around tables to the solemnity of Good Friday to the joyful singing and praise of Easter Sunday. May the remainder of your Holy Week be blessed.
